Description

This course will allow the student to develop oral proficiency in English in order to communicate at an intermediate level in a wide variety of contexts.

Objectives

• Increase vocabulary and grammar skills in order to effectively communicate orally in English at an intermediate level
  • Define new vocabulary words relating to a variety of personal, social and business related topics
  • Formulate complex sentences using descriptive words, appropriate grammar and sentence structure
• Maintain formal and informal conversations in English on a variety of personal, social and business related topics
  • Introduce self and others using descriptive words and complex sentences
  • Present ideas clearly on a variety of topics such as health, banking, travel, work and current events
  • Maintain conversations on a variety of topics and abstract concepts
