Success in business: A series of videos for microenterprises!

DIEPPE, August 24th, 2017 – The CCNB is launching its Success in business program for microenterprises operating in the fisheries, forestry and agriculture sectors. A series of 34 bilingual videos will help entrepreneurs improve their skills of sales, production, distribution, financial management and employee management.

“It’s a program for entrepreneurs, who want to learn more about business, improve their productivity and optimize the use of existing infrastructures,” said Liette Roussel, Development Manager of CCNB - Campus de Dieppe. “We want to help businesses become more stable and competitive at the provincial, national and international levels.”

The CCNB contributes to economic, social and cultural development in New Brunswick by offering quality, flexible and adapted programming that meet the needs of New Brunswick’s labor market.

“Owners of microenterprises often have access to limited resource. This particular program was designed to provide this sector of the economy with the tools required to grow their business through a series of tutorials aimed at increasing their overall operational efficiency” said Michel Doucet, CCNB’s Executive Director of Continuing Education.

The program format provides plenty of advantages; mainly there is no travel cost for the clients as all modules will be offered through CCNB’s distant education platform. The new program also addresses the training needs of minority and rural communities. Interested parties can purchase a video for $25 or view the entire series for $100. The duration of each video is approximately 90 minutes.

“The CCNB is committed to helping the Government of New Brunswick achieve his economic and social goals as part of its Rebuilding New Brunswick action plan and we will continue our efforts to provide quality and industry led training programs for entrepreneurs. We, at CCNB, are proud to contribute to the economic and social development of our province,” said CCNB CEO Liane Roy.
