This course will allow the student to acquire a proficient and practical use of Simply Accounting software.

Objectifs

• Understand the role and functioning of Simply Accounting Software
  • Define the utility of a computerized accounting software
  • Recognize the organization of the software interface
  • Explain the utility of a general journal, and of receivable, payable, inventory and payroll modules
• Apply concepts related to the accounting operations in the modules
  • Create the database of the company and associated accounts
  • Make changes, corrections, and additions to the database of the company
  • Make changes, corrections and additions to the receivables modules
  • Make changes, corrections and additions to the payable modules
  • Make changes, corrections and additions to the personnel files
  • Make changes, corrections and additions to the charts of accounts
  • Use features that enable the treatment of various transactions such as deposit and payments
  • Post basic payroll transactions
  • Use features that enable the configuration and production of a standard pay for an employee paid on an hourly or annual rate
  • Use features that enable the production and printing of reports
