ESSENTIAL SKILLS PROGRAM FOR ADULTS (ESPA)
- A fast alternative for admission to college training!
You want to sign up for CCNB training, but you don’t have a high school diploma?
The ESPA is a 15-week program that gives you access to more than 40 programs available at CCNB. This program will allow you to acquire the skills that will enable you to succeed in the program of your choice. The training relies on the skills you need to develop in order to successfully complete your training program and the instruction is based on authentic documents and hands-on learning activities.
The ESPA works! Individuals who have completed the ESPA are as successful as those who have completed high school in the regular manner!
Admission citeria:

Have successfully completed the “Workplace Essential Skills Program” – Level 2 (WES - Level 2)
OR
- Master the essential skills that a person usually has when he or she is between a completed Grade 9 and an uncompleted Grade 12;
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Have a sustained interest in the target professional sector, including a strong preference for one or more of the targeted training programs;
- Meet the specific requirements of the targeted training program.
