This program is designed to prepare the student to acquire basic business knowledge to improve productivity and to optimize the use of existing infrastructures, making a business more stable and competitive at the provincial, national and international levels.

Have relevant work experience in the field of agriculture, forestry or fisheries

Details related to admissions:

Any transcript containing adapted level or “Programme de compétences essentielles au marché du travail (PCEMT) ” courses will be subject to additional assessment.
Applications from individuals 21 years or older who do not have a high school diploma will be subject to additional assessment.
An individual who has completed mathematics courses prior to the new mathematics paths A, B, and C, should consult the guidance counsellor of the CCNB campus where the program is offered in order to determine eligibility toward the chosen program.
The “Programme de compétences essentielles (PCE)” is a specific high school path which prepares the student for enrollment in one or several pre-established programs leading to one or more trades.
The application of an individual who has obtained a high school diploma with courses from the “PCE”, and who wishes to change to another field of training, will be subject to an additional assessment.

Renseigements additionnels sur la formation

The program is offered online and consists of 34 capsules (modules) which vary in length from 60 to 90 minutes.
The person who registers for this training program should have a basic knowledge of the Windows environment, e-mail and the Internet.

Sanction des études

Aussitôt qu'il satisfait à toutes les conditions du programme, l'étudiant se voit décerner a certificate of participation en Success in Business – Fisheries, Forestry or Agriculture

Formations reliées

Certificat restreint d'opérateur « compétence maritime » COR-M

Ce cours permettra à l’étudiant d’acquérir des notions relatives à la communication maritime et aux diverses procédures d’appel. À la suite du cours, l’étudiant pourra se présenter à l’examen « Certificat restreint de radiotéléphoniste maritime ».

Sécurité de base des petits bâtiments autres que les embarcations de plaisance (FUM A3)

Ce cours permettra à l'étudiant d'acquérir une formation de base en sécurité nautique destinée aux membres d'équipage des embarcations autres que de plaisance, d'une jauge brute d'au plus 150 tonneaux et naviguant à 25 milles nautiques ou moins de la rive.

Introduction à l'analyse de sol - prélèvement d'échantillon

Ce cours permettra à l'étudiant d'apprendre les méthodes de prélèvement des échantillons de sol et d'autres variétés d'échantillons utiles en production végétale. Les étudiants apprendront à interpréter les résultats de ces analyses afin d'optimiser l'utilisation des nutriments.

Multiplication des plantes

Ce cours permettra à l’étudiant d’utiliser des méthodes de multiplication végétative sexuée et asexuée.
