    • Demonstrate the proper technique for washing hands or completing hand rubbing
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
    • Describe what personal protective equipment is and when you would be required to use it
    • Understand the principles and practices of Transmission-based precautions and Standard Practices
    • Demonstrate donning and doffing of all personal protective equipment
  • Safety Hazards & Unsafe Environmental Situations
    • Identify hazards in the work environment and how to protect themselves
    • Outline procedures for reporting hazards
    • Understand basic body mechanics and demonstrate safe lifting techniques
    • Explain how to take action in emergencies
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
    • Follow the standard WHMIS training per local and provincial standards
