Medical Device Reprocessing Practicum

Description

Twelve weeks practical experience in the field of medical devices reprocessing: respect for the limits of the field of competence of a technician; participation in the preparation and monitoring of the practicum; use of software and other technological tools related to practise in this field; compliance with the policies and procedures of the internship environment; demonstration of professionalism and a sense of ethics in their work.

Objectifs

  • Meet the specific requirements of the practicum
    • Participate actively in the practicum preparation and follow-up 
    • Comply with the policies and rules of their host institution
    • Demonstrate safe practices in compliance with the requirements of their practicum setting
  • Apply the skills and knowledge acquired during training
