Develop keyboarding techniques on alphanumeric and numeric keyboards; increase keystroke speed; improve accuracy.

Objectifs

• Improve keyboarding accuracy and speed
  • Maintain good posture when keyboarding
  • Use the proper fingering for all keys on the keyboard
  • Enter textual data in English and French
  • Enter numeric data
  • Achieve a keyboarding speed of 40 words per minute for five minutes with a maximum of five uncorrected errors
  • Achieve a keyboarding speed of 120 keystrokes per minute for numbers with one to three figures
  • Type alphabetic and numeric and punctuation keys accurately
